About
What We Believe
We believe that the God of Israel is one God, and that the Tanakh and the New Testament are the Scriptures. They testify of Him and tell His story to humanity.
These Scriptures were written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit over hundreds of years and through different authors. Among other things, they describe the relationship that God longs to establish between Himself and all human beings.
We believe that the Father in heaven sent His Son Yeshua into this world to pay the price we are meant to pay because of our sins and brokenness. Only through Him and because of the price He paid can this brokenness be repaired (Psalm 34:18) and the plague of harmful sexuality be eradicated.
While the Scriptures do not speak of survivors of sexual assault as a separate group, the commandments that require the believer to help the poor, the needy, the orphan, and the widow include them as well.
Our Mission
The Naeerah Center envisions the restoration of the body of Christ from the plague of sexual abuse, for God has promised to present the church before Him “without stain or wrinkle or any such thing, holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:27).
Sexual assault fundamentally shatters the person who has been harmed, as well as their surrounding community. Since God defines believers in Yeshua as one body with many members, it follows that harm of any kind—and especially sexual abuse, which crosses nearly every possible boundary—becomes an autoimmune disease, as the body attacks itself.
Justice must be seen in such cases and the perpetrator must be held accountable, but that is not the end of the story. To eradicate the plague, all those involved need restoration. The Naeerah Center strives first and foremost to provide restoration in a safe environment for survivors and their close circles. Wherever possible, we will also provide assistance and guidance to offenders, because the transformation God can bring about in their lives will ultimately benefit the entire community.
The Naeerah team provides initial response, guidance, educational and community support, assistance with initial coping, and referrals to professional resources as needed. The services provided at the center are intended to offer support, accompaniment, education, and prevention, and do not constitute legal advice, legal representation, psychological treatment, psychological assessment, medical treatment, or binding professional opinion.

I was born in Israel and have believed in Yeshua since 1984. In 2003, God spoke to me through James 1:27, calling me to visit orphans and widows in their distress. I founded “Ot U’Mofet,” and using a powerful tool that has proven itself in my personal life and is based on the pattern of the Tabernacle, I accompany people who want to transform shameful areas of their lives into a dwelling place full of glory.
God taught me that in many ways, Israel is also a widow—not because she has no husband, but because we do not recognize His ownership over us, His love for us. He mobilizes me to various areas that need restoration and healing (single-parent families, Holocaust survivors, sexual abuse survivors, and more). I study the roots of the problem, the possible paths to healing and reconciliation, and then mobilize prayer and teach about it. The circle of those affected by sexual abuse is large. It begins with the direct survivor, but their entire surrounding community suffers from it, and even the offender himself. I decided to establish Naeerah because without restoration of all parties, the entire body will continue to suffer.
God promises that a day will come when we will no longer remember “the shame of our widowhood” (Isaiah 54:4). Until then, I lean on His promise to present us before Him without wrinkles, stains, or blemishes (Ephesians 5:27), and contribute my part to ironing out those wrinkles.
The Hebrew language is one of my great loves, and in my free time you will likely find me on the balcony with a cup of coffee and a book, or listening to a podcast while walking through a blooming field.

I am married and a mother of three, born in Switzerland, founder of the organization “Ma-Min.” Professionally, I am a couples and sex counselor, specializing in biblical sexuality.
I studied biblical counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. There was an abundance of excellent information and materials on the subject available to me, and only when I moved to Israel did I discover that there is no accessible information in Hebrew. Under God’s guidance, I built a website that makes information on the subject accessible. The site answers deep and challenging questions about sexuality and equips visitors with tools that can help them discuss the subject without embarrassment.
I am a fellow of the American Association of Believing Sex Therapists (ABCST). In Israel, I am a certified sex educator, and I teach about sexuality and faith in congregations, youth conferences, and discipleship programs.

My world operates at the intersection of law, community, and the individual. Since 2013, I have served as an attorney in social action, rights advocacy, conflict resolution, and organizational and community development.
As part of my work, I accompany organizations, teams, and communities in the process of building a culture that sees the individual person and promotes protection and ethics. My approach is based on trauma sensitivity and creating new possibilities for conversation, reconciliation, and shared learning.
I believe that preventing sexual harassment does not begin (nor does it end) with drafting regulations. It is rooted in open and safe daily discourse. This is the perspective I bring to Naeerah. I want to cultivate in organizations and communities a culture of respect, listening, and clear and safe boundaries.

I was born in Latvia, where I studied law and worked in the financial sector, in a world governed by laws, frameworks, and order. In 2009, I married my husband and moved to live in Israel. Here began an inner journey that took me to a completely different field, one that focuses on the human soul, on community, and on the belief that God has a solution for every pain and distress.
I am studying body-mind psychotherapy, specializing in a field that sees them as two interconnected parts, because true healing happens only when you listen to both.
Since 2010, I have been volunteering at the Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Jerusalem. The work there reminds me anew each time how deep and complex emotional pain can be, and how immense God’s ability to heal is.
I also volunteer with an organization that specializes in foster care and adoption, because the whole issue of children growing up in an unsafe environment is very dear to my heart.
I joined the Naeerah team when I realized that even among believers in Yeshua there is a need to create a safe space where sexual abuse can be discussed and addressed, because we cannot afford to remain silent in the face of this phenomenon.
I speak four languages and am always striving to learn one or two more. Outside of work hours, you will usually find me in the garden. In nature, I see the greatness of God, and there my faith deepens that He holds everything in His hands.
