“For You will light my lamp; the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness”

(Psalm 18:29)

As disciples of Yeshua, we are called to serve as a source of light in this world. The Naeerah Center sheds light on the issue of sexual abuse among believers in Israel, raises awareness, and offers approaches for treatment and prevention.

Since only a small portion of sexual abuse cases are reported to authorities and handled by them, we provide a framework that offers support, assistance, and training on this issue.

Throughout the site we have used feminine language when referring to the victim and masculine language when referring to the perpetrator, but the content always applies to both genders

the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness."

Deuteronomy 17:12, 7

"So you shall put away the evil from your midst...
So you shall put away the evil from Israel."

Ephesians 5:11-12

"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather expose them.
For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light."
